Maintenace

The size of the room & the quality of the furnishings including the separate bathtub. I especially liked the friendly helpfulness of the staff & the western breakfast was great. I will definitely stay at the Royal Mediterranean Hotel again.

I liked the room in general. The service was good.

There were small questions for breakfast, not everything was always on the table. The rooms require a small renovation of the furniture.

The bus service to the Canton Fair was fine.

The hotel lacked a bit of light.The corridor was dark when we arrived. There was not enough light in the room and the furniture was too old. For example the mirror frame in the bathroom was in a bad condition, the closet door was about to fall when we opened it. The breakfast was so-so for its price. We also had the smell of cigarette almost everywhere in the hotel, it was not very pleasant.

1) Rooms are very old looking and dirty. 2) Requested for a non-smoking room, but the room allocated had a very bad tobacco and smell.3) The breakfast was not to my expectations. It is very far from other hotels of same price.4) Most staff speak very bad english and some do not understand english at all.

There is a language barrier which makes every interaction tedious and unnecessary long. The rooms are not in the best condition anymore. The bathroom floods every time you shower. Cabinet doors do not close and the AC is really loud even when turned off. The breakfast is okayish considering the rest of the hotel.

Location was good.

The website says the Embassy Suite is over 3,000 square foot...it is not. It is a regular sized suite. Very disappointed. The AC in the bedroom wouldn't turn off (which was fine), but the AC in the front room didn't work. Had maintenance up twice and they didn't fix the problem.

The hotel is really out-dated,I've been staying there for more than 10 Years...This time was the worest.The Breakfast was terrible.The Facilities are getting really old.They charged me more for changing the room with an extra bed.And it didn't have a working safe box or a telephone...They did give me another room which was much smaller... But for the same price..!!!

Seriously dates, I've been here a number of times. Since the virus looks like they are cutting costs. Breakfast was awful. They have a kitchen toaster to toast bread in a hotel. So slow, roof is falling apart, shower has no power, one of them doenst even work. Walked into the room no power.Even cancelled my booking 2 times for no reasons Just awful

The location of the hotel is very good, many restaurants and shops around. Rooms are quite large and very clean.

I usually stay in this hotel twice or three times per year and this time I found nobody can speak English, in all my stay I just found one worker could. Before breakfast was good but now they change the lounge to an awful location and furthermore the choises were very poor
